So, today there are two exciting things.
1) The first meeting of the Iqaluit Rank Amateur Fishing Society (IRAFS) in 2008. You know, the one where we all go out to the park after work (yes, work, unlikely everyone else in this town) and try, but fail, to catch any fish. Enthusiastically. Meemers will be inducted shortly, as she purchased her fishing rod at Northmart yesterday.
2) Last day of work before VACATION, which begins tomorrow when I board a plan to the Land of Hurry-Hurry. Uh, I even re-activated my cell phone. I feel overweight and pale and not prepared for all those fancy-dressing, multi-lingual women in high heels down there, but I'll muscle through somehow with microbrews on a patio with my BFFs. And sushi. Screw you fashion magazines.
Alianait has been pretty crazy. Everything has been pretty crazy. I'm burnt out and ready for some downtime. Tomorrow. Yes.
